Alex Deters scored two goals and added an assist Tuesday, leading Teutopolis to a 6-0 soccer win at home over Newton.

Alex Deters had his assist on a goal by Alessio Bucciarelli, who scored less than four minutes into the contest to put the Shoes up 1-0. Deters and Noah Hemmen also scored in the first half, as THS built a 4-0 lead.

Both Alex Deters and Derek Deters scored in the second half.

The Shoes improved to 13-3-1 with the win. They will play Saturday at Breese Mater Dei.

Hoopeston scored three goals in the first half Saturday and that was all the Cornjerkers needed in the 3-0 decision.

The Shoes dropped to 11-3-1 on the season.

They will play today (Monday) at home against Faith Bible Christian Academy.

Alessio Bucciarelli scored three goals Monday afternoon, helping the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes post a 7-2 soccer win at home over Faith Bible Christian Academy.

Bucciarelli scored twice in the first half and added another goal in the second half, as the Wooden Shoes improved to 12-3-1 on the season. Linus Tanneryd and Nolan Runde both scored two goals for THS.

T-Town will play today (Tuesday) at home against Newton.

Teutopolis played to a 3-3 tie in soccer Thursday at Centralia.

The Wooden Shoes scored all three of their goals in the first half. Derek Deters had two of those, while Kaleb Bannick added a goal. Jack Poelker and Noah Hemmen had assists.

The THS junior varsity squad was defeated 3-0.

The Shoes, now 11-2-1 on the season, will play at home Saturday against Hoopeston.
