The Teutopolis volleyball team notched another win Tuesday night, beating Windsor/Stew-Stras in two games at home.

The scores were 25-22, 20-18.

For the Lady Shoes, Kelsey Deters had 1 block, 5 digs, 1 hit, 1 kill, 6 serves, 4 points, 42 sets, 19 assists; Holly Heuerman 5 digs, 2 serves; Carly Michels 2 blocks, 5 digs, 13 hits, 5 kills, 12 serves, 4 aces, 10 points; Erica Michels 1 block, 16 hits, 9 kills, 2 serves, 1 point; Hannah Rodgers 4 serves, 2 points; Ciara Repking 4 digs, 8 hits, 4 kills, 8 serves, 2 aces, 5 points, 4 sets, 1 assist; Kaitlyn Schumacher 3 hits, 1 kill; and Emily Konkel 1 block, 7 hits, 1 kill, 7 serves, 2 aces, 5 points.

THS will play Thursday at Neoga.

It figured to be a good volleyball match and it didn’t disappoint.

Effingham traveled to Teutopolis Monday night. After three good and close games, the Lady Hearts came away with the victory.

T-Town took the opening game 26-24, but EHS came back to win 25-19, 25-19.

For the Lady Hearts, Hayley Dively had 2 kills, 32 assists, 2 aces, 5 digs, 2 blocks; Alexis Chrappa 15 kills, 12 digs; Kennedy Sowell 2 kills, 1 assist, 1 dig, 1 block; Sam Urch 7 kills, 1 ace, 3 digs, 1 block; Jacy Boatman 10 kills, 2 aces, 12 digs; Callie Feldhake 1 ace, 1 dig; Morgan Hagler 7 digs; and Olivia Martin 2 assists, 1 ace, 11 digs.

For Teutopolis, Kelsey Deters had 7 digs, two serves, 1 points, 65 sets, 18 assists; Holly Heuerman 11 digs, 9 serves, 1 ace, 3 points; Carly Michels 6 digs, 26 hits, 9 kills, 13 serves, 1 ace, 9 points, 2 sets; Erica Michels 1 dig, 25 hits, 11 kills, 1 serve; Hannah Rodgers 3 serves, 1 ace, 2 points; Ciara Repking 7 digs, 4 hits, 2 kills, 16 serves, 1 ace, 9 points, 6 sets, 1 assist; Kaitlyn Schumacher 3 hits, 1 kill; and Emily Konkel 1 block, 1 hit, 1 kill, 3 serves, 1 point.

The junior varsity and freshman matches went three games as well.

Effingham won the JV match by scores of 25-13, 17-25, 25-19. Teutopolis captured the freshman contest. The scores were 22-25, 25-15, 15-9.

Both teams will return to action today (Tuesday). Effingham will travel to Lincoln and THS will play at Windsor/Stew-Stras.

The Teutopolis volleyball team played host to Sullivan Tuesday night and posted a two-game victory.

The scores were 25-13, 25-8.

For the Lady Shoes, Kelsey Deters had 29 sets, 17 assists, 1 dig, 1ace, 4 points; Holly Heuerman 4 digs, 5 serves, 5 points; Emily Konkel 1 block, 1 kill, 1 ace, 2 points; Carly Michels 3 digs, 5 kills, 1 ace, 12 serves, 10 points; Erica Michaels 1 block, 8 kills; Ciara Repking 4 digs, 4 kills; and Kaitlyn Schumacher 2 blocks, 1 dig, 1 kill.

The THS junior varsity won 25-11, 25-21; and the freshmen made it a clean sweep by winning 25-18, 25-11.

Teutopolis will play Friday and Saturday in the Crossroads Classic.

While the Teutopolis varsity team was competing at the Crossroads Classic, the junior varsity squad turned in a second place performance at the Robinson JV Volleyball Tournament.

After finishing second three years in a row, T-Town went 4-0 in tourney play and captured the championship for the first time.

The Teutopolis volleyball squad hosted St. Joseph-Ogden Thursday night and dropped its first match of the season.

The scores were 18-25, 13-25.

For the Lady Shoes, Kelsey Deters had 34 sets, 11 assists; Erica Michels 3 kills, 2 digs; Carly Michels 7 kills, 3 digs; Ciara Repking 2 kills, 4 digs, 1 assist; Eve Walker 1 block, 1 kill; and Kaitlyn Schumacher 1 block.

The THS junior varsity won 25-27, 25-19, 25-17; and the freshmen Lady Shoes also prevailed by scores of 25-23, 25-21.

T-Town, now 3-1 on the season, will play Tuesday at home against Sullivan.
