The Lady Shoes prevailed in two close games, winning 25-20, 26-24.

Teutopolis played host to North Clay Monday night and dropped a three-game volleyball match.

The Lady Shoes opened with a 25-14 setback, but bounced back to win the second game by a score of 25-20. In the deciding game, however, North Clay prevailed 25-23.

The Lady Shoes will return to action Monday at home against North Clay.

Teutopolis notched its eighth volleyball win of the fall season Thursday with a two-game victory at Neoga.

The scores were 25-11, 25-21.

According to THS coach Tim Mills, the biggest cheer of the night came when Ciara Repking blasted a shot into a Neoga blocker. The ball bounced all the way over the court and through the basketball goal.

“Nothing but net,” Mills said. “It was a funny moment.”
