The Brumleve/Probst duo went 4-0 to sweep through doubles play. They defeated Catherine Willenborg/Caroline McDevitt (St. Anthony), 6-0, 6-0; Stevee Walker/Mia Hargis (Robinson), 6-1, 6-0; Eva Richardson/Gwendolyn Eckerty (Casey-Westfield), 6-3, 6-1; and Greene/Kowalke, 6-3, 6-2.

Greene/Kowalke reached the finals by defeating Emma Mason/Emily Sherwood (Casey-Westfield), 6-0, 6-2; Lucy List/Alysha Clements (Robinson), 6-1, 6-2; and Tess Huene/Emily Stortzum (Mattoon), 6-1, 6-2.

In singles play, Emilee Mossman also proved to be unbeatable, winning all four of her matches and losing only three total games in eight sets. She beat Sydney Littlejohn (Casey-Westfield), 6-0, 6-0; Jessilyn Hall (Newton), 6-0, 6-0; Diana Mossman (Teutopolis), 6-0, 6-1; and Jacelyn Street (Newton), 6-0, 6-2.

Emilee’s sister, Diana, was third in singles play, beating her other three opponents. She defeated Caroline Kull (Effingham), 6-0, 6-0; Sarah Staller (Robinson), 6-3, 6-0; and Rachel Thomas (Charleston), 6-1, 6-1.

In other doubles action, Effingham’s Riley Seachrist/Riley Arend went 1-1. They beat Alana Geer/Hannah Hicks (Shelbyville), 6-2, 6-1; and lost 3-6, 1-6 to Kaitlyn Mathews/Sarah Isaf (Paris).

T-Town’s Isabelle Hemmen/Grace Hoene also went 1-1. They beat Kendall Mathews/Chloe Woltz (Paris), 6-1, 6-2; and dropped a three-set match to Tess Huene/Emily Stortzum (Mattoon), 4-6, 6-1, 4-6.

For Effingham, Lydia Kull/Eden Wendling lost to Lucy List/Alysha Clements (Robinson), 0-6, 1-6.

In singles action, Effingham’s Caroline Kull beat Hannah Larson (Charleston), 6-0, 6-0; but lost to Diana Mossman (Teutopolis), 0-6, 0-6.

St. Anthony’s Caroline Deters finished 1-1. She beat Chloe Aden (Effingham), 6-0, 6-0; but lost to Jacelyn Street (Newton), 0-6, 0-6.

Carley Habing also went 1-1 for the Lady Shoes. She defeated Genny Davidson (Casey-Westfield), 6-0, 6-0; but was defeated by Rachel Thomas (Charleston), 2-6, 3-6.
