Both games came down to the seventh inning.
Nathan Simko delivered a walk-off RBI double for Williamsville in the opener and Cooper Tegeler delivered what proved to be the game-winning hit for Teutopolis in the nightcap.
As a result, the two teams split the doubleheader in Williamsville Saturday.
The host Bullets won the first game, 4-3, but the Shoes came back to take the second contest, 3-2.
In the opener, Williamsville scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game. Then in the seventh, with two outs, Singer doubled and Simko followed another two-bagger, giving the Bullets the walk-off win.
The Shoes scored an unearned run in the fourth and then added two more tallies in the fifth. After a Zac Niebrugge single and a fielder’s choice, Garrett Gaddis drove in the first run with a double and Mick Niebrugge followed with an RBI single.
Evan Waldhoff, the third pitcher of the game for THS, took the loss. Logan Lawson went the first 1.2 innings, Gaddis pitched 3.1 innings of scoreless and hitless baseball and Waldhoff took over in the sixth.
The second game followed a similar pattern.
The Shoes took the early lead and Williamsville came back to tie. This time, however, it was T-Town’s turn for some late heroics.
In the seventh, Carter Hoene walked and Gavin Addis singled. With one out, Tegeler singled to drive home the winning run.
The Shoes took a 2-0 lead in the second. Hoene and Addis got things started again and Gaddis came through with a two-out, two-run single.
THS used four pitchers in the nightcap. Gaddis was the starter, followed by Austin Borries and then Devin Kreke, who relieved in the fourth and got credit for the win. Andrew Probst pitched the seventh and earned the save.
The Shoes finished the regular with a 19-11 record. They will now host a Class 2A Regional. T-Town is the No. 2 seed and will play either Toledo or Vandalia at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The Bulldogs scored two runs in the second and third and added three more in the seventh.
A Wooden Shoes error led to two unearned runs in the second and two more miscues in the fourth allowed three more unearned runs to cross the plate.
T-Town did have single tallies in the sixth and seventh.
In the sixth, Conner Hoelscher was hit by a pitch, Mick Niebrugge singled and Evan Waldhoff drove in the run with a ground out.
Joey Niebrugge doubled in the seventh and came in to score on an RBI single by Hoelscher.

The Shoes dipped to 17-9. They will be back in action today (Saturday), playing in the Edwardsville Classic. They are scheduled to face Edwardsville at 10 a.m. and Glenwood at 12:30 p.m.
Austin Borries and Garrett Gaddis combined to allow only two hits, helping the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes post a 5-1 victory Saturday over Edwardsville in their first game of the day.
The Shoes completed the three-game, two-day Edwardsville Classic with a 10-6 loss to Glenwood. They finished 1-2 in the event, dropping a 7-2 decision on Friday to Highland.
Borries worked a strong five innings, allowing just one hit and one unearned run, while throwing 99 pitches. He walked three and struck out seven. Garrett Addis pitched two scoreless frames to secure the win and earn the save.
The game was tied 1-1 after four innings. T-Town then put together back-to-back two-run innings in the fifth and sixth.
In the fifth, Joey Niebrugge reached on an error and Devin Kreke and Brett Kreke both singled to load the bases. One run scored on a passed ball and Mitch Koester drove in the second with a ground out.
In the sixth, Borries was hit by a pitch and Davin Worman followed with a two-run blast that sailed over the centerfield fence and provided some additional breathing room.
In the second game, Glenwood pushed across five runs in the third inning to build a 7-0 lead and that proved to be enough, even the Shoes battled back.
THS got solo home runs from Mick Niebrugge in the fourth and Koester in the fifth, helping the Shoes close to within 7-5. But Glenwood scored a run in the sixth and two more in the seventh.
Worman pitched the first three innings and took the loss. He gave up four hits and seven runs, while walking five and striking out three.
The Shoes are now 18-10. They will be back in action Monday at Altamont and then travel to Benton on Tuesday.
The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes left a lot of runners stranded on base Tuesday afternoon, but they still managed to score enough, posting a 4-1 win at North Clay.
T-Town collected 12 hits and three walks in the game, and had runners on base in every inning but one, but only pushed four of them across the plate. They stranded 12.
For pitchers Garrett Gaddis and Evan Waldhoff, that proved to be enough. Gaddis got the win, going the first four innings. He gave up four hits and one run. He walked only one and struck out three. Waldhoff took care of the final three innings to earn the save. He allowed three hits and fanned one.
The Shoes scored a single tally in four different innings. In the first and third innings, everything started after the first two batters had been retired.
In the first, Mick Niebrugge singled, went to second on an error and scored on a base hit by Waldhoff. It was Austin Borries who got it started in the third with the first of three straight singles. Devin Kreke followed suit and Zac Niebrugge’s hit drove in the run to put THS on top to stay, 2-1.
T-Town added unearned runs in the sixth and seventh, with Devin Kreke delivering an RBI single in the seventh.
The Shoes improved to 17-8. They will return to action Friday and Saturday, playing in the Edwardsville Classic.
